About Devig Methods

Bookmakers build a margin (vig/juice) into their odds. These five methods each remove that margin differently to estimate true fair probabilities. MPTO (proportional) is the most common. Shin accounts for insider trading effects. Odds Ratio uses a power adjustment. Compare across methods — when they agree, you can be more confident in the fair probability estimate.
